This Editor's Letter was a recreation of an original Editor's Letter that I made in InDesign. It was a lot more different than just playing around with InDesign due to the fact that we had a goal in mind this time. I started out with putting a background in, and then I moved on to trying to create the little shapes. After that was done, I had to correctly arrange all of the pictures and the writing. After that was done we saved it as a .jpeg!

The challenges that I faced while doing this was to try and make the pictures and writing the correct size, shape and how to fit them around each other in the right way. I think that for my first real time on InDesign, that I did well.

That was my miraculous, trying expedition on InDesign this time around!

My Feelings on InDesign....

So far, I think InDesign is a really interesting application, because it allows you too rearrange things and it helps you create ads. You are able to make or recreate things, but overtime when we become more advanced with it I feel like it will become much harder.

Interesting Ads

I personally like this ad a lot, because I find it interesting how they have all the pictures so you can tell the style of their products

I like this ad, because its interesting how there is a picture in one corner, a plain background, and then the writing along the bottom.

I like this ad, because instead of other ads it was a comparison of different types of coffee.

This is personally one of my favorite ads, because I love how the writing is in the coffee instead of below it or on top, etc.

I like this ad a lot too, because of how the car is driving, people are incorporated into it without being too interesting and there is barely any writing.

My Designs So Far.........

So far in my young life i have...... made cards for special occasions with lovely crayons and construction paper which changed slowly into prettily designed paper with pens, markers, and colored pencils slowly all of those early creations changed into things on a computer like...... a. a menu to be used for mother's day; b. created  powerpoint for school, birthdays, and father's and mother's day; c. created a document for a class in Microsoft publisher. As a designer, i feel that my achievements turned out well, although i had help along the way. The menu was created in Microsoft Word, and then given to my mom as a present and to show what we had made her that day for lunch/dinner type meal. For one of the powerpoint that I created, it was a collage of pictures of my family and I on various trips which turned out nicely as well. For the publisher project, it was printed out and then put together with the rest of the classes designs.
